AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE
EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY
OF AMES, STORY COUNTY, IOWA, FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1, 1949, AND ENDING
MARCH 31, 1950
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Story
County, Iowa:
Section 1. That the following_ appropriation be made for the
several funds of the City of Ames, Iowa, for the Fiscal Year begin-
ning April 1, 1949, and ending March 31, 1950. Said estimates of
the revenues and expenditures are made and anticipated for the City
of Ames and are as nearly correct as can be estimated at this time.

declared to be urgent and necessary for the preservation of public
health, peace, and safety and this Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force April 1, 1949, through March 31, 1950, after its pass-
age and publication as provided by law.
