AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 355, PARTICULARLY
SECTION 5 AND SECTION 15.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa:
Section 1. That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 355 of the City
Ordinances of the City of Ames, Iowa, is hereby specifically re-
pealed.
Section 2. That Section 15 of Ordinance No. 355 of the City
Ordinances of the City of Ames, Iowa, is hereby specifically re-
pealed and the following shall be hereinafter known as Section 15
of said Ordinance No. 355:
"Section 15. Each Councilman shall receive as full
compensation for his services, $1.00 for each and every
regular or special meeting of the Council which he attends,
the aggregate of which shall not exceed $50.00 in any one
year. Such compensation shall be audited and paid at the
end of each six months . "
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this amendment are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This amendment to Ordinance No. 355 of the City
Ordinances of the City of Ames, Iowa, shall be in force and effect
from and after passage and publication as provided by law.

certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance No. 667 was duly
and properly passed at a meeting of the City Council on the 3rd
day of January, 1949, and published in the Ames Daily Tribune on
the iazr, day of January, 1949•
