HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Section 23 of Ordinance 542 (House Sewer) ORDINANCE NO. 659 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 542, PARTICULARLY SECTION 23 OF ORDINANCE 542 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA: Section 1. That Section 23 of Ordinance No. 542 of the City Ordinances of the City of Ames, Iowa, is hereby specifically re- pealed and the following shall be known as Section 23 of Ordinance No. 542: "Section 23. House, Sewer, Test and Inspection. The house sewer shall be made tight and shall be inspected and tested before covering . The test tee or wye shall be placed at or near the main sewer and the test applied as specified in Section 22. " Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this amendment are hereby repealed. Section 3 . This amendment of Ordinance No. 542 of the City Ordinances of the City of Ames, Iowa, shall be in full force and effect from and after passage and publication as provided by law.
