GRAPH (d) OF SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE NO. 489.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa:
Section 1, That Paragraph (d) of Section 7 of
Ordinance No. 489 of the City Ordinances of the City of Ames, Iowa,
is hereby specifically repealed and that the following sha i l be
hereinafter mown as Paragraph (d) of Section 7 of Ordinance
No. 489:
" (d) ;,all signs shall not extend beyond
the ends of the wail surface on which they
are placed. "
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict with the provisions of this amendment are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. This amendment to Ordinance No. 489 of
the City Ordinances of the City of Ames, Iowa, shall be in
force and effect from and after its passage and publication
as provided by law.

Mayor declared Ordinance No. 650 passed.

certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance No. 650 was duly
and properly passed at a meeting of the City Council on the 31st
day of May, 1948, and published in the Ames Daily Tribune the
3rd day of June, 1948.
