ORDINANCE NO, 624
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 608, AN
ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE
EXPENDITURES OF TI-3E CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE
CITY OF APES, STORY COUNTY, IOWA, FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1, 1946 AND
ENDING MARCH 31, 1.947.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Story
County, Iowa:
Section 1: That said portion of Section 1 of Ordinance
No. 608 pertaining to the expenditures of the Plan Commission be
amended to read 1!1,250.00, and
That said portion of Section 2 of Ordinance
No. 608 under Expenditures for anJT Legal Use be amended to read
$4,255,00.
That the above amendment is needed for the
purpose of increasing the appropriation of the Plan Commission
for the purpose of making funds available for work on a Master
Street Plan for the City of Ames and proposed annexations to said
City.
Section 2: That the provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be urgent and necessary for the preservation of public
health, peace, and safety and this ordinance shall take effect and
be in force after its passage and publication as provided by law.
