ORDINANCE NO 619
AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A SANITARY
SEWER DISTRICT HEREINAFTER KNOWN AS SANITARY SEWER
DISTRICT NUMBER 5461 PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A SANITARY SEVIER THEREIN, AND FOR MAKING ASSES-

IT ORDAINED BY Tlfflj CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF A_+TS, IO11TA:
Section 1. That there is hereby established and created in the
City of Ames, Iowa, a sanitary sewer district known as Sanitary
wer District Number 546.
Section 2. That saidsanitary sewer district includes all of
he lots and parcels of ground located within the following described
area to-wit:
Beginning at a point in the north line of Thirteenth
Street 120 feet west of the west line of Grand Avenue;
thence north to the northeast corner of Lot 11 Blk 1,
Grand Park 2nd Addition; thence west to the northwest
corner of Lot 1, Blk 2, Grand Park 2nd Addition; thence
south to the north line of Thirteenth Street ; thence
east to the point of beginning.
Section 3. That a sanitary sewer shall be constructed in said
strict and the plat now on file in the office of the City Clerk,
epared by the City Engineer, marked "Plat of Sanitary Sewer Dis-
ict Number 54611, showing the location of the sanitary sewer im-
ovement to be constructed in said sanitary sewer district, terminal
i_nts thereof, boundaries of said sanitary sewer district and each
t or parcel of ground included in said sanitary sewer district, is
this reference thereto made a part hereof.
Section 4. That all cost and expense of constructing said
i provenment shall be assessed in accordance with the provisions of
C apter 308 Iowa Code 1939, particularly those sections therein
p rtaining �o special assessments to the extent that the same is
a sessable by law relating to the construction of sewers.
Section 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
h rewith are hereby repealed.
Section 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
u on its passage and publication as provided by law.
