Re it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Ames, Story County
Iowa;
Section 1. That the following appropriations be made for the
several funds of the City of Ames, Iowa, for the fiscal year be-
ginning April 1, 1944 and ending March 31, 1945, Said estimates
of the revenues and expenditures are made and anticipated for the
City of Ames and are as near correct as can be estimated at this
time.

That the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be urgent
and necessary for the preservation of public health, peace, and
safety and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force. April
1, 1944, through March 31, 1945, after its passage and publication
as Drovided by law.

passed on its first reading.

and the second and third readings omitted and Ordinance No. 600
placed on its final reading.

pass.

Mayor declared Ordinance No. 600 adopted.
J. 717. Prather, City Clerk of the City of Ames , Iowa, do hereby
certify that the above and foregoing Ord. No. 600 was duly and
properly passed at a meeting of the City Council on the 20 day
of March, 1944, and published in the Ames Daily Tribune on March
22, 1944.
