SUBJECT: Rezone for 210 South 5°i Street
The applicant is requesting a Rezone from Agricultural (A) to Highway Oriented Commercial
(HOC)with an Environmentally Sensitive Overlay(O-E).
The Planning and Zoning Commission took action on the above-described request at its meeting
of January 17, 2024.
The City Council will take action on the rezoning request at its meeting scheduled for February
13,2024.
The labels for the 200' notification, commission action form, and legal description are attached.

You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa,
will meet at February 13, 2023 at 5:15 p,m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 515
Clark Avenue, Ames, Iowa, to consider a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning
Map of the City of Ames, Iowa,by changing the boundaries of the districts as shown on
said map as provided in Section 29.1507 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames,
Iowa, as follows:
That the following described real estate, generally located at 210 South 50' Street, is
rezoned from Agricultural (A) to Highway Oriented Commercial (HOC) with an
Environmentally Sensitive Overlay (O-E)
Real Estate Description: 210 South 51h Street
You are hereby notified that the proposed ordinance making such a change is on file in
the Office of the City Cleric. Any parties in interest and citizens may appear at the
aforementioned Council meeting to testify for or against the proposed ordinance. Written
testimony will also be accepted.
