An Ordinance making appropriations for the expenditures of the City government
of the City of Ames, Iowa, for the fiscal year commencing April lot, 1933,
and ending March 31, 1934.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iov:a•
Section I. That the following- appropriations be made for the several funds
of the City of Ames, Iowa, for the fiscal year commencing April 1, 1933 and
ending March 31, 1934, to-wit:
Section 2. GENERAL FUND.
ESTILATED RECEIPTS:
General Fund levy 4 mills $ 6,400.00
Transfer from Electric Fund - in lieu of tax
levy by permission of Budget Director - 40,000.00

For any legal purpose not falling under the preceding
funds or to supplement any shortage in said funds or
appropriations properly chargeable to the General Budget Fund - 5,180.00
GRAND TOTAL GENERAL BUDGET FUND - - $ 55,050.00
Section 3. There is also appropriated all funds received from the tax levies
and other receipts properly belonging to the following; specified funds, together
with any unexpended balances in each, which are estimated as set forth opposite
the several funds hereafter enumerated, and which amounts are respectively
appropriated for the expenditures properly chargeable to each of the said funds,
to-wit:

Section 4. EFFECT.
That the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be urgent and
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force after its passage
and publication as provided by law.

I, A. B.Maxwell, City Clerk of the City of Ames, Iowa, hereby certify that
the above and foregoing Ordinance No. 446 was duly and properly passed by the
City Council at a meeting held Monday, May 22, 1933, and published in the Ames
Daily Tribune, May 24, 1933.
