AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE NRINICIPAT.CODE OF THE CITY OF
AMPS,IOWA,BY ENACTING A NEW SECTION 29.904 THEREOF,FOR
THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING A NEW INTENSIVE INDUSTRIAL
ZONING(11)DISTRICT FOR THE EAST INDUSTRIAL PRAIRIE VIEW
INDUSTRIAL CENTER.REPEALING ANY AND ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH
CONFLICT;AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED,by the City Council fa the City of Ames,Iowa,that:
Section One.The Municipal Cade of the City of Ames,Iowa shall he and the same is hereby emended by
enacting a new Section 29.904 as follows:
"S1r.29.904."H"INTENSIVE INDUSTRIAL ZONE.
(I) Purpose.The Intensive Industrial Zone is designed to accorrmodate large and varied industrial
business devdopmunt to the a—east of brePaste 35.The Standards of this nine are intended to provide for an
rnvinurrent that permits large.ale industrial d—lopinect upon lase tract of land adjacent to highways and rail lines.

vcuro safe,functional,efficient and erwironmuotailysomrd operation.
(2) Permitted Uses.The uses pcmitted in the R Zone are set forth in Table 29.9M(1)below:
