HomeMy WebLinkAboutA015 - Letter from BBR Oil II, LLC dated May 22, 2018 To: Ames City Council From: BBR Oil II, LLC RE: Proposed rezoning of the Downtown Gateway Focus Area from HOC to DCG Date: May 22, 2018 As owners of the Grand Junction Center located at 539, 631, 637 and 639 Lincoln Way, encompassing 3.0877 acres, with 4 retail/warehouse buildings consisting of over 19,700 square feet, we are opposed to the proposed rezoning and would respectively ask to be excluded from any boundary area incorporating the DCG designation. Substantially reducing the number of permitted uses and restricting any new drive-thru opportunities would have an adverse impact on the value and marketability of our existing vacant spaces and any potential redevelopment opportunities.
