This would include those homes residing within the SCAN and Colonial Village neighborhood association boundaries. My home at 822 Ash Ave. does not currently reside without the proposed boundaries, and I am keenly interested in associating with either residential neighborhood group. However, I would prefer to be included within the SCAN neighborhood association boundary as I have previously worked with these folks on other relevant issues affecting life quality near the University. Of interest, an informal poll of 6 neighbors North and South of my residence this weekend also demonstrated unanimous support for the 25%cap and I will encourage then to contact you directly also. I love the students and their energy; however, my wife and I also appreciate the benefits of strong, family-centric neighborhoods and the opportunity for non-student residents to work, play, and thrive as a more permanent residential community.
