I have not seen the abstract of title, but I have seen four deeds identified by the abstractor as this
property. The legal description (including Carroll ROW) is attached. The dimensions seem to me to
conform to the GIS drawing below, and it seems to me a safe description for the pending zoning action.

Frank, Can you provide a legal description for the rezoning that is on the tentative agenda for May28? It
does not need to be solely for the ACPC site--it can also include the Carroll Avenue portion.

I looked over the deeds, legal descriptions, and the information available from the Story County GIS.The
1904 Lucy Hale deed to the school district granted the West 18S feet of Lot 10 in the West 1/2 of the
Northeast 1/4 (which the auditor appears to have labeled "Emery's Subdivision").In the absence of another
conveyance to the city, it seems to me to be a simple operation to quit-claim the West 66 feet of the same
Lot 10 to the city and be done with the transaction. The county GIS drawing is below:

EXCEPT commencing at a point on the North line of Sycamore Street (now East 9th Street) 367 feet West
of the Southeast Corner of Lot 10; thence East 367 feet along the North right-of-way line to the
