HomeMy WebLinkAboutA001 - Email from City Attorney dated March 23, 2012 Weed ordinance CAF _ Doug Marek to: Clint E Petersen, Steve Schainker 03/23/2012 12:30 PM Cc: Diane R Voss, Kristine Stone Kristine and I substantially rewrote the CAF. Please review on the T drive to make sure that it accomplishes what you intended. Diane, if Council does adopt the manager's recommended action, the action would be to direct staff to prepare the ordinance and to publish notice of public hearing per 380.10. If long grass is not going to be included, we can bring the ordinance back for first reading on April 10. If Council wants to consider long grass before proceeding with the noxious weed ordinance, the public hearing will have to be set later to allow time for a workshop prior to first reading CAF Weeds and Grasses v.2.doc Doug Marek Ames City Attorney 515 Clark Avenue P.O.
