The City Council will be reviewing these proposed amendments at its meeting f June 23, 2009. (1) I have attached a copy of the Commission Action Form dated June 3, 2009, as prepared by Steve Osguthorpe, which include a draft of each of the ordinances that he has prepared. Normally, Planning does not put proposed amendments in ordinance format, but in this case Steve thought that the preambles would help to more fully establish the issue and purpose of the changes. (The Planning and Zoning Commission based its recommendations on the information contained in the preambles.) Steve said that these are now provided for the convenience of the Legal Department, but will certainly defer to Legal on whether to use or modify the preambles or format. Please contact Steve at extension 5400 if you have any questions regarding this agenda item. \clh Attachment cc: Steve Osguthorpe, Director S:\PLAN_SHR\Council Boards Commissions\PZ\Memos\Memo to Clerk-Attorney Regarding Text Amendments to Subdivision Regulations-06-09-09.doc
