Box 811 Ames,lA 50010 Phone: 515-239-5105 November 21, 2008 LEGAL NOTICE You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, will meet at 7:00 p.m. on December 9, 2008, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, Ames, Iowa, to consider a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, by changing the boundaries of the districts as shown on said map as provided in Section 29.1507 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: That the following described real estate, generally located at 4098 East 13"Street, is proposed to be rezoned by ordinance from Planned Regional Commercial (PRC) and Northeast Gateway Overlay District (O-GNE) to Planned Industrial (P-I). Real Estate Description:Parcel"A"in the Northwest Fractional Quarter of Section 5, Township 83 North, Range 23 West of the 5'P.M., Story County,Iowa,as shown on the "Plat of Survey (Amended)" filed in the Office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa, on the 12t' day of December, 1997, and recorded in Book 15, Page 90-91, and containing 55.18 acres, more or less. You are hereby notified that the proposed ordinance making such a change is on file in the Office of the City Clerk. Therefore, the applicant finds it desirable to petition under Section 29.1507(2) of the Zoning Ordinance (1-1-05 Supplement) that the East Barilla Parcel be reclassified for zoning purposes as Planned Industrial. The Planning and Zoning Commission will take action on the above-described request at the meeting scheduled for November 19, 2008. The City Council will take action on the above-described request at the meeting scheduled for December 9, 2008. The labels for the 200' notification are attached.
