This proposed rezoning comprises 12.69 acres (9.79 net acres). The intent is to develop a commercial node at the intersection of Stange Road and Bloomington Road. The developer is also requesting a rezoning of a portion of the "FS-RL" (Suburban Residential Low Density) to "FS-RM" (Suburban Residential Medium Density). This proposed rezoning comprises 0.63 acres. The intent is incorporate this sliver into the FS-RM zone and to develop it as townhouses. ly�'� The master plan of Northridge Heights is being updated to reflect the removal the portion proposed for rezoning to commercial and to further show future development of single family and multi-family J� residential units. The Planning and Zoning Commission will take action on the above-described requests at the meeting • scheduled for May 21, 2008. The City Council will take action on the above-described request at the meeting scheduled for May 27, 2008. The labels for the 200' notification are attached. Attachments showing the previously approved and proposed master plans are included. An attachment showing the proposed rezonings and the legal descriptions for those rezonings is included.
