To the Owners, Tenants, and Occupants of the area hereinafter described, you are notified that the
City Council for the City of Ames,Iowa,will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers,City
Hall, 515 Clark Avenue,Ames, Iowa, in conjunction with its meeting scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
on the 9`" day of October, 2007, on proposed adoption of an urban revitalization plan for an area
described as:
Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Lee's Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa
to be called the University-Impacted Area West Urban Revitalization Area, and enactment of an
ordinance to designate the land described above as an urban revitalization area.

Subject UTA West URA Deadlines
Gentlemen:
For the above URA, which is on tomorrow night's agenda, I need to mail the Notices to those within 200
feet of the affected Area on August 31. Jeff: Can you please get me those names/addresses?
I also need to send the Notice to the Tribune by 11:00 AM on Thursday. In the past, the City Attorney has
prepared the Resolutions on URA and the Notice of Public Hearing. Doug: Do you wish that to continue?
I have an example of the Notice that I will bring over; it will need a Legal Description of the property in
question.
Please advise. Thanks.
