Marek, City Attorney, 515 Clark Avenue,Ames, Iowa 50010 (515)239-5146 Return document to:City Clerk's Office,P.O.Box 811,Ames,1A 50010 ORDINANCE NO. 3920 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 29.301 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,BY CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 29.1507 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa; Section 1: The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, as provided for in Section 29.301 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 29.1507 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames,Iowa,as follows:That the real estate, located at 1400 South Bell Avenue, is rezoned from Agricultural(A-1)to General Industrial (G-1). Real Estate Description:That part of Outlot W,Dayton Park Subdivision,Fourth Addition,City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest Corner of said Outlot W;thence S89°55'36"E, 708.80 feet along the Southerly line of said Outlot W to the Northwest Corner of Lot 2, Dayton Park Subdivision,Third Addition,in said City of Ames,said point also being the Point ofBeginning; thence continuing S89°55'36"E, 17.80 feet along said Southerly line;thence N00°02'21"E, 666.14 feet to a point on the Northerly line of said Outlot W;thence S89°21'50"W, 127.37 feet along said Northerly line; thence S09'19'19"E, 673.60 feet to the Point of Beginning; containing 1.11 acres. Section 2: All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
