Marek, City Attorney, 515 Clark Avenue Ames Iowa 50010 (515)239 5146 Return document to:City Clerk's Office,P.O.Box 811,Ames,IA 50010 ORDINANCE NO. 3877 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 29.301 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,BY CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 29.1507 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa; Section 1: The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, as provided for in Section 29.301 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 29.1507 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: That the real estate, generally located west of relocated South Dayton Avenue and north of Southeast 16"'Street, is rezoned from"HOC"(Highway-Oriented Commercial)to"A" (Agricultural). Real Estate Description: A portion of East Hickory Park Subdivision, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5"P.M., City of Ames, Story County, Iowa; thence N00°15'03"W a distance of 113.54 feet;thence N89°48'46"W a distance of 1,300 feet more or less to a point on the centerline of said Section 12;thence south along the centerline of said Section 12 a distance of 684.05 feet more or less;thence S89°48'46"E a distance of 439.45 feet; thence N00°00'00"W a distance of 668.00 feet;thence S89048'46"E a distance of 300.00 feet; thence S66015'01"E distance of 539.20 feet to a point on the west right-of-way line of South Dayton Avenue;thence northeasterly along said right-of-way line a distance of 110.00 feet;thence N00°15'03"W a distance of 30.68 feet to the Point of Beginning. Section 2: All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
