HomeMy WebLinkAboutA008 - Email from Planning Director with timeline alternatives Matthew G Flynn/COA To Steve Schainker/COA@COA, Bob Kindred/COA@COA, Ray 03/16/2006 05:06 PM D Anderson/COA@COA,Jeff D Benson/COA@COA, Dominic Roberge/COA@COA, Matthew G cc bcc Subject E 13th Street Reconsideration Timeline All -Jeff, Diane, Cindy and I reviewed the timeline and as discussed this morning, came up with two alternatives: "NORMAL"Timeline April 5- P&Z Consideration of the LUPP Amendment April 25-Council Consideration of the LUPP Amendment May 17 - P&Z Consideration of Repealing the Zoning and Overlay June 13 - Council Consideration of Repealing the Zoning and Overlay, 1st Reading June 27 - Council Consideration of Repealing the Zoning and Overlay, 2nd Reading July 11 - Council Consideration of Repealing the Zoning and Overlay, 3rd Reading "FAST"Timeline E' April 5- P&Z Consideration of the LUPP Amendment April 11 - Council Consideration of the LUPP Amendment L - P&Z Consideration of Repealing the Zoning and Overlay - Council Consideration of Repealing the Zoning and Overlay, 1st Reading 3-Council Consideration of Repealing the Zoning and Overlay, 2nd Reading 13 - Council Consideration of Repealing the Zoning and Overlay, 3rd Reading .Tfie schedule cannot be compressed more due to notice and report preparation time, and Jeff needs to discuss with Doug the possibility of a 90 day referral period from Council expiring during the process. The referral was made on February 28, which means, as we understand, things being back to Council by May 28. Planning staff has no problem, and even supports, the quicker schedule. Matthew G.
