LEGAL NOTICE
You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, will meet at
7:00 p.m. on June 14, 2005, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, Ames,Iowa,
to consider a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames,Iowa,by changing
the boundaries of the districts as shown on said map as provided in Section 29.1506 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
That the following described real estate, generally located in the vicinity of Dayton Avenue and
Southeast 16`h Street, is proposed to be rezoned by ordinance from "A" (Agricultural) to "HOC"
(Highway-Oriented Commercial).
Real Estate Description: Lot 2 in Wheelock Subdivision of the Southwest Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter and the South 113.54 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter, all in Section 12, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the
5th P.M., City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, containing 36.73 acres.
You are hereby notified that the proposed ordinance making such a change is on file in the Office of
the City Clerk. Any parties in interest and citizens may appear at the June 14,2005,Council meeting
to testify for or against the proposed ordinance. Written testimony will also be accepted.

2005.

because Matt wanted to notify a larger area. There may be a duplication of property owners between the
two sets of labels.
