Klaus, City Attorney, 515 Clark Avenue, Ames, Iowa 50010 (515)239-5146 ORDINANCE NO. 3828 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 29.301 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,BY CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 29.1506 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA;REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa; Section l: The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, as provided for in Section 29.301 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 29.1506 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames,Iowa, as follows: That the real estate, generally located in the area of Woodview Drive and Oakwood Road, is rezoned from "A" (Agricultural) to "RL" (Residential Low Density).. Real Estate Description: Rezoning of 1.08 Acres more or less legally described as: Beginning at a point 266.0 feet South 0°30' East and 266.0 feet East of the Center of Section 16, Township 83 North,Range 24 West of the 5'P.M.,Iowa,thence continuing East 245.0 feet,thence Southwesterly 382.7 feet along a 245.0 foot radius curve concave Northwesterly whose long chord bears South 45°15' West 345.0 feet, thence North 0°30' West to the point of beginning.
