and legal publication(from Planning &Housing Dept.)
2. Planning&Zoning Commission meeting date
3. Prepare ordinance (to have on file) ��
4. 200 ft. notices sent to property owners
5. Publish legal notice in newspaper(no less than 7 days prior to
hearing) (need proof of publication returned from paper)
6. Date of hearingand first passage of ordinance

Special Notes:
*If Petitions for Annexation and Rezoning are received concurrently, the third passage and adoption of
ordinance rezoning the property shall not occur until the letter acknowledging the annexation from-the
Secretary of State is received.
