LEGAL NOTICE
You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, will meet at
7:00 p.m. on May 11, 2004,in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, Ames, Iowa,
to consider a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames,Iowa,by changing
the boundaries of the districts as shown on said map as provided in Section 29.1506 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
That the following described real estate, generally located on the north side of South 16' Street west
of Buckeye Avenue and south of the Coldwater Links Golf Course, is proposed to be rezoned by
ordinance from"HOC" (Highway-Oriented Commercial)to "RM" (Residential Medium Density).
Real Estate Description: Outlot B, Grand Aspen Subdivision, 2°a Addition, in the
Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 10, Township 83 North,
Range 24 West of the 5'P.M., City of Ames, Story County, Iowa.
You are hereby notified that the proposed ordinance making such a change is on file in the Office of
the City Clerk. Any parties in interest and citizens may appear at the May 11,2004,Council meeting
to testify for or against the proposed ordinance. Written testimony will also be accepted.
