Klaus, City Attorney,515 Clark Avenue,Ames,Iowa 5 10 (515)239-5146 ORDINANCE NO. 3716 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 29.301 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,BY CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 29.1506 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa; Section 1: The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, as provided for in Section 29.301 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 29.1506 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames,Iowa, as follows: That the real estate generally located 2200 Timberland Road, is rezoned from"A" (Agricultural) to "RL" (Residential Low Density). Real Estate Description:Lot 9, Christensen's Timber Lane Subdivision in Section 16, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5' P.M., Iowa also known and described as commencing at a point 432 feet North of the center of Section 16, Township 83 North,Range 24 West of the 5'P.M.,Iowa;thence South 88°50'West 82.6 feet;thence North 56°27' West 51.4 feet; thence North 74°26' West 85.6 feet; thence North 39°55'East 77.7 feet;thence North 32001' East 100 feet;thence North 13°34' West 425.7 feet;thence North 35 feet to the center of the creek;thence North 8732'East 207.5 feet along the said center of the creek to the East line iff the NWIA, Section 16; thence South along said East line 652.4 feet to the point of beginning, containing 2.45 acres more or less. Section 2: All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
