HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Rezoning a portion of Northridge Heights Subdivision from FS-RL & FS-FM to F-PRD John R.Klaus,City Attorney,515 Clark Avenue,Ames,Iowa 50010 (515)239-5146 ORDINANCE NO. 3690 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 29.301 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,BY CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 29.1506 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa; Section 1: The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, as provided for in Section 29.301 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 29.1506 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames,Iowa,as follows:That the real estate generally located east of Chilton Avenue and north of Bloomington Road is rezoned from Suburban Residential Low Density(FS-RL)and Suburban Residential Medium Density(FS-RM)to Planned Residence District(F-PRD). Real Estate Description: A tract of land being a replat of Outlot S of Northridge Heights Subdivision,Fourth Addition,City of Ames,Story County,Iowa,described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast Corner of said Outlot S;thence S89°50'58"W, 26.97 feet along the Northerly right-of-way line of Bloomington Road to the point of beginning;thence continuing S89°50'58"W,340.00 feet along said Northerly right-of- way line to the Southeast Corner of Northridge Heights Subdivision,Second Addition, said City of Ames; thence N00009'05"W, 429.05 feet along the Easterly line of said Second Addition to a point on a 1550.00 foot radius, non-tangent curve, concave Northerly; thence Easterly 341.45 feet along said curve having a chord bearing N8600I'11"E, 340.76 feet;thence S00°09'05"E, 514.81 feet to the point of beginning; containing 3.88 acres subject to easements of record. Section 2: All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 3: This ordinance is in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law. ADOPTED THIS 12`t'day of November, 2002. Diane R.
