Klaus City Attorney,515 Clark Avenue,Ames,Iowa 50010 (515)239-5146 ORDINANCE NO. 3667 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 29.301 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,BY CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 29.1506 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa; Section 1: The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, as provided for in Section 29.301 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 29.1506 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: That the real estate generally located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Southeast 16'Street and relocated South Dayton Avenue,is rezoned from"A"(Agricultural) to"HOC" (Highway-Oriented Commercial). Real Estate Description: Lot 1 of Wheelock Subdivision,an Agricultural Plat of Parcel D in the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12,Township 83 North,Range 24 West of the 5'P.M., Story County,Iowa,being more particularly described as follows:Beginning at the Southeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 12; thence N00°15'03"W, 1,279.75 feet along the east line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 12 to a point on a curve concave to the east having a radius of 1,005.00 feet, a central angle of 37°09'57" and being subtended by a chord which bears S 18°34'53"W,640.54 feet;thence southwesterly and southerly,651.91 feet along said curve; thence S00°15'03"E,671.92 feet;thence S89°48'46"E,206.77 feet to the point of beginning, containing 5.15 acres which includes 0.33 acres of existing public right of way. Section 2: All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
