RESOLUTION NO. 02-236
RESOLUTION APPROVING SALE OF A VACATED PORTION OF WATT
STREET TO BECKER-UNDERWOOD REAL ESTATE CO., L.C.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa:
Section One. Conveyance by Quit Claim Deed to Becker-Underwood Real Estate Co.,L.C.,
of a vacated portion of Watt Street in Ames, Iowa, described as: the west 10.5 feet of the east 869.2
feet thereof, subject to an easement for City utilities, in consideration of payment to the City of
$8,765.00 and grant of an easement to the City pertaining to street improvements on Dayton avenue,
is hereby approved.
Section Two. The Mayor shall execute the said Quit Claim Deed, and the City Clerk shall
attest thereto.
DONE this 9th day of April, 2002.
