A001 - Petition from Emerald Drive Residents
3315 Emerald Drive Ames, IA 50010 September 10 2000 TO: Scott Logan, Traffic Engineer City of Ames From: Emerald Drive Residents When the parking on Emerald Drive became so conjested it became a hazard. The City of Ames's solution was to allow parking on the west side of the street only. Now that the demand for on street parking has continued to increase we need to do something in order to create more parking. One possible solution is to move the parking to the east side of Emerald Drive. There are no driveway approaches and three less mailbox accesses on the east side of the street. This change would create ten to twelve more parking spaces in the conjested area. Hopefully this would allow people with a need for in street parking got park closer closer to their residence. If this seems like a recommendation you could support please sign below.
