Please consider what the proposed zoning change will do to the value of my property
located at 129 Beedle(see attached zoning map).
It is my understanding that the proposed change means that the current building can
continue to be used as if it were still classified as General Commercial. However,my
concern is what would happen if the building were torn down, burned down,or otherwise
destroyed. Under the new zoning,then the property could only be used for residential high
density. Since the lot is not large enough to build a multi-family unit,the property would
then become worthless.
I would like to request that you leave my property zoned as General Commercial,or the
new designation Highway Commercial. At the very least,please grandfather my property
in such a way as to allow it to continue to be used as Highway Commercial if something
should happen to the current structure.
