HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Establishing Transitional Urban Revitalization Areas A - N r r t l ORDINANCE NO.3534 AN ORDINANCE TO DISCONTINUE CERTAIN URBAN REVITALIZATION AREAS AND TO ESTABLISH TRANSITION URBAN REVITALIZATION AREAS TO ACCOMMODATE PROJECTS IN PROGRESS;REPEALING ANY AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT;AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACTED,by the City Council for the City of Ames,Iowa,that: Section One. Those Urban Revitalization Areas known as One,Two,Four,and Five,as designated by Ordinances numbered 2798,2799,2896,2801,and 2802,respectively,are hereby repealed and discontinued. Section Two. To accommodate projects now in progress in the said Urban Revitalization Areas, transition urban revitalization areas are established as follows: 1. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"A"is that real estate described as: The West 46'&the East 7'of the south 60'of Lot 5,Shearer's Subdivision of Lot 2,Block 41,Third Addition to Ames,Story County, Iowa;and Lot 3 of Shearer's Subdivision to Ames,Story County,Iowa. 2. Transition Urban Revitalization Area`B"is that real estate described as:Lot 8 and the North 50'of Lot 7,Block 6,Original Town to Ames,Story County,Iowa;the West 125'of Lot 6&the South 10'of the West 125'of Lot 7,Block 6,Original Town to Ames, Story County,Iowa;the East 55'of Lot 6&the South 10'of the East 55'of Lot 7,Block 6,of the Original Town to Ames, Story County,Iowa;and Lot 9,Block 6,Original Town to Ames,Story County,Iowa. 3. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"C"is that real estate described as: South 125'of Lot 5,Block 49, Blair's 4th Addition to Ames,Story County,Iowa;and the North 80'of the West 70'of Lot 4,Block 49, Blair's 4th Addition to Ames,Story County,Iowa. 4. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"D"is that real estate described as: Lot 30&the South 7'of Lot 29,Athletic Park Addition to Ames,Story County,Iowa;the East 55'of Lots 31 &32,Athletic Park Addition to Ames,Story County,Iowa;Lot 28&the North 60'of Lot 29,Athletic Park Addition to Ames, Story County,Iowa. 5. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"E"is that real estate described as:Lot 13,Block 8,of Black's 2nd Addition to Ames, Story County,Iowa;and Lots 7, 10, 11, 14& 15,Block 8,Black's 2nd Addition to Ames,Story County,Iowa. 6. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"F" is that real estate described as: Parcel"C", CFN 13-26 to Ames, Story County,Iowa;and the South 150'of the North 419.4'of the West 398',NW'/4 of the SE%4 of Section 11,Township 83 North,Range 24 West to Ames,Story County,Iowa. 7. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"G"is that real estate described as:Lots 5&6,Block 5,Black's Addition to Ames, Story County,Iowa;and Lot 7,Block 5,Black's Addition to Ames, Story County, Iowa. 1 8. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"J"is that real estate described as:the East%z of Lot 6&the South 30'of the West'/z of Lot 6&the East'/z of Lot 7&the North 30'of the West'/2 of Lot 7&the North 59' of the East 1/z of Lot 8,all in the South part of Block 13 in the West 1/2 and Southwest 1/4 of Section 4, Township 83 North,Range 24 West to Ames,Story County,Iowa;and the North 60'of the West 1/2 of Lot 6,Block 13,in the West 1/2 of the SWl/4 of Section 4,Township 83 North,Range 24 West,Ames, Story County,Iowa. 11. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"K"is that real estate described as:Lot 6,Otis,Illsley&Parsons's Subdivision to Ames,Story County,Iowa;and Lot 5,Otis,Illsley&Parsons's Subdivision SL to Ames, Story County,Iowa. 12. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"L"is that real estate described as:Lot 10,Otis,Illsley&Parsons's Subdivision to Ames,Story County,Iowa;and Lot 9,Otis,Illsley&Parsons's Subdivision to Ames,Story County,Iowa. 13. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"M"is that real estate described as:Parcel"D"in the SWl/4 of the SWl/4 of the SEl/4 of Section 11, Township 83 North,Range 24 West of the 5th P.M.,Ames, Story County,Iowa,and the North 82.5'of the South 330'of the West 263'and the South 30'of the East 158' of the West 263'of the South 220'of the North 330'of the South 1/2 of SW SE except Highway 69. 14. Transition Urban Revitalization Area"N'is that real estate described as: The West 100'of Lot 2 and the West 100'of the North 10'of Lot 3,all within Block 8,Black's Second Addition to Ames,Story County, Iowa-,and the South 50'of Lot 3,Block 8,Black's 2nd Addition to Ames,Story County,Iowa. Section Three. The aforesaid Transition Urban Revitalization Areas shall endure from the effective date of this ordinance until the 31 st day of August,2000. Section Four.
