HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Replacing Language Inadvertently taken out of Ordinance 3501 ORDINANCE NO. 3503 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA,BY REPEALING SUBSECTION 21.501(17)AS IT NOW EXISTS AND RE-ENACTING SUBSECTION 21.501(17) FOR THE PURPOSE OF REPLACING LANGUAGE THAT WAS INADVERTENTLY TAKEN OUT DURING ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE#3501; REPEALING ANY AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; PROVIDING A PENALTY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACTED,by the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa, that: Section One. The Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa shall be and the same is hereby amended by repealing Subsection 21.501(17)as it now exists and re-enacting a new Subsection 21.501(17)as follows: "(17) Amend Section 610.8 UPC by adding a second paragraph as follows: An assumed pressure range of 46-60 psi will be used for Table 6-5, except that in the area of the city south of Lincoln Way and west of Dotson Drive, the assumed pressure range will be 30-45 psi. (Ord. Section Two. Violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall constitute a municipal infraction punishable as set out in Section 21.801 of the Municipal Code. Section Three. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict, if any. Section Four.
