You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, will meet
at 7:00 p.m. on February 25, 1997, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue,
Ames, Iowa, to consider a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames,
Iowa, by changing the boundaries of the districts as shown on said map as provided in Section
29.6 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
That the following described real estate, generally located west of South Dakota Avenue and
North of U.S. Highway 30, is proposed to be rezoned by ordinance from A-1 (Agricultural) to
RI-6 (Low-Density Residential), R-2 (Low-Density Residential), R-3 (Medium-Density
