NO. , STORY COUNTY, IOWA FILED FOR RECORD �bj JSM OCT2 4 1996 PMW D� SUSAN L VANDE , ReoDWWV Fee$ /�•M. 1udW$Fee$ �— Sandra L.Ryan City Clerk 515 Clark Avenue Ames owa 39-5105 ORDINANCE NO. 3415 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, ADOPTED BY SECTION 29.5 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 29.6 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF OR1vINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa; Section l: The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, adopted by Section 29.5 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 29.6 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: That the following described real estate, generally located south of Airport Road between Elwood Drive and Riverside Drive, will be rezoned from A-1 (Agricultural, Story County) to P-I (Planned-Industrial, City of Ames), to allow the expansion and development of ISU Research Park (Phase II): PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Parcel 1: A part of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4), of Section 15 - T83N - R24W of the 5th P.M., Story County, Iowa; described as follows: "Commencing at the Northwest (NW) corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4 - SW I/4) of Section 15 - T83N - R24W of the 5th P.M., in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa-, thence S 00' 04' 17" W, 120.00 feet along the west line of the SW I/4 - SW 1/4 of said Section 15, to the Point of Beginning; thence N 89° 46' 42" E, 536.67 feet along the south line of Lot Three (3), Iowa State University Research Park First Addition and that line extended West-, thence N 32' 37' 21" E, 142.83 feet along the southeasterly side of said Lot 3; thence N 89' 46' 42" E, 1,624.08 feet; thence S 00' 11' 50" W, 18.45 feet along the west line of the East 25 Rods of the NE 1/4 - SW 1/4 of said Section 15; thence S 14' 18' 01" E, 100.88 feet; thence S 00' 42' 28" E, 237.8 feet; thence S 65' 51' 59" W, 884.50 feet; thence N 89' 40' 12" W, 138.50 feet, thence S 00° 11' 28" W, 87.94 feet along the east line of the SW1/4 - SWI/4; thence N 87' 45' 42" W, 585.85 feet; thence S 03' 05' 17" W, 414.72 feet; thence N 88' 36' 45" W, 713.32 feet; thence N 00' 04' 17" E, 1,048.09 feet along the west line of the SW 1/4 - SW 1A to the Point of Beginning."
