ORDINANCE NO. 3310
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, ADOPTED BY SECTION 29.5
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA;
CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED
AND SHOWN ON SAID MAP AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 29.6
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa:
Section 1: The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa,
adopted by Section 29.5 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa,
is amended by changing the boundaries of the districts established and
shown on said Map in the manner authorized by Section 29.6 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
That the following described property be rezoned from R-3
(Medium-Density Residential) to R-4 (High-Density Residential) :
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: The North Fifty-Eight (58) feet of the
South Eighty-Three and Seven-Tenths (83.7) feet of Lot Fourteen (14)
in Parker's Addition to Ames; the South Twenty-five (25) feet of Lot
Fourteen (14), Parker's Addition to Ames, Iowa except the West
Fifteen (15) feet thereof; and the North Thirty-two and three tenths
(32.3) feet of Lot Fifteen (15) , Parker's Addition to Ames, Iowa,
except the West Fifteen (15) feet thereof; the South Fifty-Eight and
Six-Tenths (58.6) Feet of the North One Hundred Twelve and
Six-Tenths (112.6) Feet of Lot Fourteen (14) in Parker's Addition to
Ames, Iowa; The North 54 feet of Lot 14 in Parker's Addition to the
City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, except that portion sold off the
West end for railway purposes, subject to easements.
Section 2: All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3: This ordinance is in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and publication as provided by law.
ADOPTED THIS 20th day of December, 1994.
