HomeMy WebLinkAboutA004 - Letter dated February 17, 1994 from Traffic Engineer to Residents Public Works Department 515 Clark Avenue P.O. Box 811 515-239-5160 February 17, 1994 _address Dear Property Owners, Business Owners, and Residents: Re: Ordinance for Alternate-Side Parking Prohibitions on 10th Street During January, a letter was sent to property owners, business owners, and residents along 10th Street concerning implementing an alternate side parking restriction. After receiving several responses opposing the measure, staff reconsidered implementing this restriction due to the narrow street width along 10th Street. Subsequently, this measure will not be proposed to City Council at their February 22 meeting. Over the next several months, staff will once again evaluate alternatives to improve snow removal and other maintenance activities along 10th Street. Residents, property, and business owners will be notified of any proposed changes as a result of this evaluation. If you have a concern or need additional information regarding this matter, please feel free to contact me at 239-5275. Sincerely, Scott Log n, P.E. Traffic Engineer SUdwj
