BE IT ORDAINED, By the City Council of the City of Aoios, Iowa: Section 1. All able bodied male residents - betvreen the iges of twenty-one and forty-five Shall, between the In-st day of Iebruary and the first day- of October of each year, pay in money to the Clerki. a su•n to be fixed by the I �! :!Council on Or before F'-bru._ y r"rit of each year, not exceedin;r five dollars, The Council . shall ftx,, by resolution, t the first regular� � •(meeting in January of each year, the amount - to be paid.
