AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS
29.20(18)(f), 29.20(1 8)(h))AND RE-ENACTTING)SAID
SUBSECTIONS, EXCEPT 29.20(6), WITH CHANGES;
ENACTING A NEW SUBSECTION 29.20(18)(i); FOR THE
PURPOSE OF REVISING ZONING REGULATIONS PERTAIN-
ING TO GARAGES, AWNINGS AND DECKS IN THE R-5
(MOBILE HOME) DISTRICT AND ELIMINATING REQUIRE-
MENTS FOR STORM SHELTERS; REPEALING ALL ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; ESTABLISHING A
PENALTY AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT Proof Of Wsblication in )he

repealing subsections 29.20(5)(a), 29.20(6),
29.20(18)(e), 29.20(18)(f), 29.20(18)(h) and
re-enacting said subsections, except 29.20(6)
pertaining to storm shelters, with changes and
enacting a new subsection 29.20(18)(i) as
