HomeMy WebLinkAboutA010 - proof of publicaiton dated December 11, 1992 ORDINANCE NO. 3206 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS 29.20(18)(f), 29.20(1 8)(h))AND RE-ENACTTING)SAID SUBSECTIONS, EXCEPT 29.20(6), WITH CHANGES; ENACTING A NEW SUBSECTION 29.20(18)(i); FOR THE PURPOSE OF REVISING ZONING REGULATIONS PERTAIN- ING TO GARAGES, AWNINGS AND DECKS IN THE R-5 (MOBILE HOME) DISTRICT AND ELIMINATING REQUIRE- MENTS FOR STORM SHELTERS; REPEALING ALL ORDI- NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; ESTABLISHING A PENALTY AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The Municipal Code, DAILY IN)i1L& of the City of Ames, Iowa is hereby amended by repealing subsections 29.20(5)(a), 29.20(6), 29.20(18)(e), 29.20(18)(f), 29.20(18)(h) and re-enacting said subsections, except 29.20(6) pertaining to storm shelters, with changes and enacting a new subsection 29.20(18)(i) as follows: .(5) (a) Certain accessory buildings 'STATL U If1m1, :;iLW.y L[iiKly, 55. or structures which are complementary to the mobile home such as carports, cabanas, garages, patio awnings, porches, and storage buildings.
