Pursuant to Section 364 . 12 (2) (a) of the Code of Iowa, there is hereby vacated as public right of way two parcels of street right of way in North Street in the City of Ames, Iowa, originally platted as part of the Original Town of New Philadelphia, Story County, Iowa, and Foster ' s Addi- tion to New Philadelphia, Story County, Iowa, and described as follows: Parcel 1 . Beginning at the Northeast corner of Block 3 in the Original Town of New Philadelphia, Story County, Iowa, now a part of the City of Ames, Iowa; thence North 30 feet to the centerline of North Street; thence West 230 feet to the intersec- tion of the centerlines of North Street and Grove d o �' Street; thence South 30 feet along the centerline V of Grove Street; thence East 230 feet along the �V North line of said Block 3 extended to the point of Q c beginning. d ' ' Parcel 2 . Section 2 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after is passage and publication as required by law.
