BUILDING; PROVIDING A PENALTY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE Vim, Dennis Waller, BavrrtmgW, on IT ENACTED, by the City Council for the oath depose and say that I am president, gemiffm City of Ames, Iowa: Section One. SPACES RESERVED FOR OFFICIAL CARS; PARKING THEREIN PROHIBITED The south side of Fifth Street from the center line of Carroll Avenue east one hundred seventy (170) feet, adjacent to the municipal power plant, and on the north side of Fifth Street beginning one hundred fifty-one (151) feet west of the west line of Carroll Avenue and extending nine (9) feet to the west is hereby reserved and was published in said newspaper for 1 set aside for motor vehicles of the police department, other official vehicles of the city, sheriff's department vehicles and Consecutive weeks, the first the state highway patrol vehicles or other and the 18sf Of said authorized vehicles as designated by the publication was on the Transportation Engineer. All other vehicles are prohibited from parking in 2 9 th day of May said space, at any time, or from interfering with the use of said space by such motor vehicles." Section Two. The 19 g n Municipal Code of the City of Ames shall be and is hereby further amended byf�� /�^I repealing Subsection 18.31(66) as it now exists and enacting a new Subsection 18.31(66) as follows: "(66) KELLOGG Sworn to before n*and subscribed in my presence by AVENUE. Parking is prohibited for more than five minutes between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the east side from Sixth Street to the first parking meter stall south of Sixth Street. Parking is prohibited for more than five minutes on the west side from Sixth Streetl to the north line of the east and west alley between Fifth and Sixth Streets." Section Three. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict, if any. Se_etion Four.
