AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF
THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA FOR THE PURPOSE OF PLACING
CERTAIN LAND ORIGINALLY PLATTED AS GATEWAY HILLS
SUBDIVISION UNDER THE ADDITIONAL ZONING REGULATIONS
PERTAINING TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa:
Section One. The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa shall be
and is hereby amended by adding thereto the designation and demarcation
of a Planned Unit Development District to overlay the zoning regulations
pertain-Ing to an area of"i.gii2aiiy platted in Gateway dills Subdivision,
said area to consist of the following:
R-2 to R-2 PUD:
Lot 8, Lot 14, Lot 31, Lot 32, and Outlot Z, Gateway Hills
Subdivision; Lots 1, 2, and 3, Gateway Hills Plat A; Lots 1-18
and Outlot AA, Blue Ridge Plat No. 1; Lot 1, Blue Ridge Plat
No. 2; Lots 1-13, Mission Ridge Subdivision; and Lots 24 and
25 Gateway Hills Subdivision, which are being replatted as Lots
1.-7, Big Bluestem Subdivision, and that part of Outlot W, Gate-
way Hills Subdivision, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said Outlot W and run-
ning thence N 00-03'-13" E a distance of 1,460.97' to the point
of beginning; thence northerly along a 630' radius curve concave
to the right 319.89' (chord distance 316.46' on a bearing of N
33°-47'-54" W), thence northerly and easterly along a 270.00'
radius curve concave to the right 686.12', thence N 52°-59'-22"
E 125.62', thence S 36°-37'-29" E 10.00', thence S 520-59'-.22" W
1.90.58', thence N 67°-33'-44" W 26.18'; thence westerly and
southerly along a 195.00' radius curve concave to the left
442.44', thence southerly and easterly along a 530.00' radius
curve concave to the left 245' more or less to a point 100' NE

Thence S 41°-39'-20" W 100' to the point of beginning; all
located in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa.
R1-10 to R1-10 PUD:
Lots 2-7, Lots 9-13, and Lots 15-23, Gateway Hills Subdivision,
and that part of Outlot X of the Gateway Hills Subdivision
located in the SE i of Section 9-83-24.
A-1 to A-1 PUD:
Outlot X, except that part of Outlot X, Gateway Hills Subdivi-
sion that is located in the SE a of Section 9-83-24, and Outlot
W, except that part of Outlot W, Gateway Hills Subdivision, more

100' to the point of beginning.
Section Two. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage aiud as required by law.
