2614 GREEN HILLS DRIVE ON APPLICATION OF THE NFO
WHEREAS, the National Farmers Organization has applied to the Ames City
Council for a change in the zoning of property at 2520 and 2614 Green
Hills Drive to Planned Commercial; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to have an agreement pursuant to section 414.5,
Code of Iowa, with regard to access to Elwood Drive for the property to
be rezoned.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed:
1. The City shall grant access to the subject property from Elwood
Drive (hereinafter called Access #1), provided that:
a) the National Farmers Organization shows proof to the City that
it has been granted a private ingress and egress easement to
Elwood Drive over the property of the Southgate Square Office
Complex; (Referred to as Access #2 on Attachment A. )
b) National Farmers Organization shall , and does hereby
acknowledge and agree that a median cut on Elwood Drive shall
not be granted at Access #1. (See Attachment A. )
2. At the time Elwood Drive is widened, National Farmers Organization
shall :
a) construct a second drive within the easement referred to in
1(a) above;
b) use Access #1 only for "right-in/right-out" traffic movements.
3. The above concepts, along with other requirements and specifications
identified during the Site Plan Review Process, will be included in a
contract between the City and the National Farmers Organization as part
of the Planned Commercial Zoning District Plan Documentation.
