j An ordinance establishing grad...z for per-
. manmt sidewalks on certain street, and
avenues wit"in the city of Ames, Iona. l
Be it ordained by the city council of the
city of Ames, Iowa. - -
S^_ction 1. On the east side of Kellogg t
avenue from 5th street to 6th strut, the fol-
lowing elevations from the datum plane be E -
fixed and hereby established as the permanent I
grade, to-wit:
At the N. E. corner of the intersection of
5th street and Kellogg avenue the grade be
established 96.43; at the S. E. corner of the - -
j intersection of 6th street and Kellogg avenue the grade be established 100.36 and said grade
to the joined by straight lines between eleva-
tions above stated. -
�. On theeast side of Kellogg avenue from -
6th street. to 7th street the grade be estab-
lished relative to the datum plane as follows: {
At the N. E. corner of the intersection of
6th street and Kellogg avenue 100 8�, and at
the S. E. corner of the intersection of 7th
"street and Kellogg .avenue 99.04 and said - -
grade to be joined by straight lines between ,

6th street to 7th street the grade_be established

at the N. E. corner of the intersection of 6th
.street and Clark avenue be 97.44 and said
grade to be joined by straight line between _.
elevations above named.At the N. E. corner of 7th street and Kel-
loggavenue the elevation of the grade be
established relative to the datum plane 99.06,
.-and at .the N. W. corner of 7th street and
- Kellogg avenue be 98.95. .
On the north sde of Ninth street between , -
Kellogg avenue and Douglas avenue the grade '
be established relative to the datum plane,
- to-wit:
At the N. E. corner of the intersection of i
9th street.and Kellogg avenue be t06.06, and at the N. W. conrer of the intersection of - - - -
.9th .street and Douglas avenue be 106.56 j
and said grade to the joined by a curved line ;
parallel to-the curb on the north sine 'of '
9th street and .68 feet above the said curb.
See. 2. All ordinances- and parts of or-
dinances egnflicting herewith are hereby re- ,+
pealed. _
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage
and publication as provided by law. -
