HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Vacating an Unopened and Unused Street Right-of-Way ORDINANCE NO. 3020 AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE UNOPENED AND UNUSED STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY WHEREAS, notice has been given and a hearing held As required by law; and, WHEREAS it appears that the strip of land hereinafter described was dedicated for street purposes but has not been opened and is not needed; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that the street dedication of land described as: Beginning at a point 50 feet West and 33 feet South of the Northeast corner of Section 13, Township 83 North, Range 24 West, and running thence South 20 feet, thence West parallel to and 53 feet distant from the North line of said Section 13 a distance of 250 feet, thence North 20 feet to the South line of South 16th Street, thence East 250 feet to the point of beginning, all located in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 13, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M. in Story County, Iowa and containing 0.09 acres more or less. shall be and the same is hereby vacated.
