This letter was sent to those persons
on the attached list.
During the past weeks the City Council members have received complaints
regarding the problem with vehicle access with parking on both sides of
the street on Kellogg from 13th Street south to llth Street. In addition,
the City' s new parking plan will result in the installation of parking
meters on the east side of Kellogg from 12th Street to llth Street in the
near future. Therefore, parking will continue to be allowed in this area.
However, in order to respond to these citizen requests, the Council passed
on first reading a parking prohibition on the west side of Kellogg Avenue
from 13th Street south to llth Street.
In order to ensure that all property owners along this affected area are
notified of this potential change in parking restrictions, the City Coun-
cil has instructed me to notify you of an opportunity to appear before the
City Council , if you should so desire, at the second reading of this ordi-
nance on July 21st. If you would like to express your opinion on this new
ordinance, the meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at
Main and Pearle.
