ORDINANCE NO. 2914
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF AMES, IOWA, BY ENACTING A NEW SUBSECTION 18.21(121)
FOR THE PURPOSE OF REGULATING PARKING ON GATEWAY
HILLS PARK DRIVE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A PENALTY;
AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ENACTED, by the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa:
Section One. The Municipal Code for the City of Ames, Iowa shall be
and is hereby amended by enacting a new Subsection 18.21(121) as follows:
"(121) Gateway Hills Park Drive on both sides from Mortensen
Road south the entire length of the street."
Section Two. Violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall con-
stitute a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $100.00 or by
imprisonment for a period not to exceed 30 days.
Section Three. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section Four. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as required by law.
