ORDINANCE NO. 2913
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS 22.9(2), 22.9(31),
and 22.9(58) AND ENACTING NEW SUBSECTIONS 22.9(2),
22.9(31), and 22.9(58) FOR THE PURPOSE OF HAVING THE SNOW
ROUTES COINCIDE WITH THE CHANGED BUS ROUTES; PRO-
VIDING A PENALTY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; ESTABLISHING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa:
Section One. The Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is
hereby amended by repealing Subsections 22.9(2), 22.9(31) and 22.9(58) as
they exist now and enacting new Subsections 22.9(2), 22.9(31), and 22.9(58)
to read as follows:
"(2) Abraham Drive between its intersection with Todd Drive and
its intersection with Lincoln Swing.
(31) Lincoln Swing from its intersection with Abraham Drive to its
intersection with Beedle Drive.
(58) Todd Drive from its intersection with Thackeray Avenue to its
intersection with Abraham Drive."
Section Two. Violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall con-
stitute a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $100.00 or by
imprisonment for a period not to exceed 30 days.
Section Three. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section Four. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as required by law.
