AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP BY
CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATIONS OF CERTAIN LAND AS HEREIN
DESCRIBED, REPEALING ALL ORDINACES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED, by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa:
SECTION ONE: The Official Zoning Map of the City of Ames, Iowa, is amended
by rezoning from R-2 to R1-6, land described as:
AREA 4 The Green First Addition; The Green Second Addition; The Green Third Addition;
SUB 1 The Green Fourth Addition, except lots 1 and 11 of The Green Third Addition.
This Ordinance will be in effect from and after its passage as required by
law.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed to
the extent of such conflict.

I, Nancy Gibbons, duly appointed, qualified and acting City Clerk of the
City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 2868
was duly adopted on the 25th day of October, 1983, by the Ames City Council
and that the above is a true and exact copy of said Ordinance.
