the Northeast Quarter (NE-I,) of Section 23, Township 83 North, Range 24 West
of the 5th P.M. , Iowa
2. Street address or boundary description:
Locally known as 425 Teagarden, Ames, IA
3. Requested change: From R1-10 To 2 Lots at R1-6
4. Proposed use(s): (Please refer to zoning ordinances for list of uses permitted. )
These two (2) lots will , eventually, have single residence homes built on them.
5. The reasons for requesting this change:
Recently, there has been a housing development go in directly east of the above
lot. Division of the existing lot will yield two (2) lots of approximately the
same dimensions as those in the new housing development. Rezoning the above lot
could then yield lot sizes and homes which are proportional to and consistent
with the other residences in the neighborhood.
This application must be accompanied by a list which indicates the name and address of
all property owners within 200' of the subject property. A form and an example map
are attached.
The map to be used for the subject property will be provided to you upon request from
the Community Development Department.
